History
History - almost 200 years worshipping God together in the heart of Warlingham.
People have worshiped God in a Methodist Church in Warlingham dating back to 1826. In 1954 the church moved to a temporary building on the present site and the current Church and Small Hall were opened on 25th November 1961, to God’s glory. The Halls were extended in 1971 creating a multi-purpose sports hall with the addition of further meeting rooms and a small conservatory in 2008.
In 2015/16 we undertook a major refurbishment of the main church, making the building more accessible, visible to those outside and updating our worship and sound equipment. So, the church buildings are a resource and blessing for those in the Warlingham community and the surrounding areas.
Sunday worship attendances average between 80-90, with children and young people making up 25 of that number. We also run two busy mid-week youth clubs with a further 60 children and young people attending and a Teddybears playgroup for 30 pre-school children.
