Film Club - Autumn 2026 Programme

We run a film club once every 6 weeks or so, between September to July. Our aim is to share the extravagant love  and blessings God has given us and fulfil Jesus teaching to love our neighbours as ourselves.  There is no cost. And as a church we regularly pray for the Club and those attending.

What to expect:

At film club we usually have between 15  to 30 folk who join us in our small hall. The film is screened on a 55inch TV with a surround sound system with subtitles always on. We usually aim to show a recent film, certificate 12A or below, of up to 2 hours in length, followed by tea and cakes. There’s lots of opportunity to chat and make new friends. We start the film at 2pm and usually finish at 4.30pm.  Just come along, we can always put out more chairs!

Mother’s Pride:

From the team behind ‘Fisherman’s Friends’, Mother’s Pride is a comedy drama about a failing pub, a divided community and a family coping with the loss of their matriarch, whose lives are changed by brewing real ale and entering the Great British Beer Awards. The most successful British Film this year stars Martin Clunes, Mark Addy and Josie Laurence.

 Followed by a cream tea and time to chat.
